Maloney sings and accompanies himself at many of the local bars, restaurants, and events in Nassau County and the surrounding area. |

More importantly, they are publicly celebrated several times a year. There is some confusion surrounding the true date of Waffle Day because this Thursday, March 25, is an internationally celebrated holiday, but many in the U.S. join in the national waffle celebration that begins August 24. Some U.S. waffle fans even claim that September is National Waffle Month. |

The University's Office of Multicultural & International Student Programs held an event: "True Life: I've Been Affected by Domestic Violence," based off of the popular MTV series. The question-and-answer session was followed by a panel discussion with the audience. The panel consisted of four women with a personal connection to domestic abuse. |
