The Roosevelt Board of Education hears from managers of the high school roofing project. (NNL Photo by Erin Surprenant) On Thursday night, the Roosevelt Board of Education tackled many issues involving money matters, yet avoided doling out the district's supposed $6.6 million surplus. Pressed by parents to answer why the surplus was not being spent, Trustee Frank Scott told the audience "we're not going to let the district spend money just to spend money." The Board did, however, address other concerns about the school budget. |
